Lunar Years And Chinese Zodiac Signs Table

It is often explained by Chinese metaphysics practitioners that someone being born in a particular year does not necessarily mean that he or she has a particular animal zodiac sign.

This is because the eastern lunar calendar is not the same as the western gregorian calendar.

With reference to the above table it can be seen that someone for example, born on 2 February 2018 does not belong to the Dog zodiac even though people generally associate those born in 2018 having that sign. That particular date is actually still within the year of the Rooster zodiac.
