Bazi House Of Body Pillar

The house of body (身宫) is a supplementary pillar that can be erected for bazi reading to look deeper into a person’s destiny.

Other extra pillars that can be generated include the house of conception and house of life.

In fact, when supplementary pillar are discussed in bazi, these 3 almost always comes in a trio.

But in practice, it is not necessary to generate all 3 all the time. It really depends on what the reader is attempting to decipher.

And while the name of this pillar contains the word body, it’s purpose is meant to read into the details of a person’s fate in terms of wealth.

At this point it is important to note that the word wealth is not the same as the word money.

So the variable that might be looked into can be aspects that make life fulfilling… which includes money as a component.

To generate the house of body pillar, the it’s earthly branch should be determined first.

This can be done by referring to the below table.

The rows refer to the month branch in bazi, and the columns refer to the hour branch.

It must be noted that the top row starts at E3 because that represents the first month of the solar calendar.

By referring to the above table, a person with a month branch of E9 and hour branch of E10 would have E7 as the earthly branch on the house of body.

With this branch identified, and using the year stem, refer to the table below to identify the heavenly stem of the house of life.

So if a person has a year stem of H1, then by referring to the row E7, which is the branch of the house of body palace identified earlier, we get H7.

The house of life will therefore be H7-E7.

While supplementary pillars like these can add a lot of details into a person’s bazi, it is important to note that bazi is not called “8 characters” for nothing.

In a huge majority of cases, analyzing the 8 characters would be more than sufficient to do advance bazi readings.

These extra pillars are usually only accessed for very specific purposes, which for the most part, are unnecessary.

When bazi is assessed for the feng shui of a house, there is no need to go into such details as these extra pillar are mostly meant for fortune telling rather than feng shui.
